2nd Place win in MG class - June 18, 2005The Modhouse (Jonesboro, GA) car show had a nice turn out of all types of cars, including many classics. The event did a lot of giveaways, which my grandson had fun collecting. One of my favorite cars at this show was a black '60 Corvette which the owner had driven across the states on Route 66. The owner displayed a map of his travel and pictures of all his stops in the trunk of the Corvette. Very cool! |

2nd Place win in classic division - May 28, 2005Crazy Horse Saloon, (Forest Park, GA) is a good size show with some wild cars participating. They seem to get a little bit of every kind of car and truck, and several low riders. Even a guy that has his portrait painted on the doors. This is a crazy show but fun, with a decent live band. |

1st Place win in MG class - August 14, 2005Toys R Us (Morrow, GA) car show could have had a better turn out but it was a rainy weekend. This was a 2 day event which was rained out on the 2nd day. The rain came down so fast and hard, all I had time to do was get my tonneau cover zipped across my car and hope for the best. By the time I got in the store I was soaked, but when the rain stopped and I pulled the tonneau cover back, my car was dry. The company "Simple N Trist" did a great job with the show. |

1st Place win in MG class - October 8, 2005Faith Deliverance Charity, (Morrow, GA) car show was not a big show, but a car club group of classic cars made the show a hit. These guys sure had some nice 40's, 50's and 60's cars that were sharp. A nice tractor trailer with super graphics was also on display. |

1st Place win in MG class - October 19, 2005Toys for Tots Car Show was sponsored by Toys R US, (Reyetteville, GA). The turn out was very good considering the cold weather this time of year. This show also had a very good mix of cars. I had displayed some Lego props in and around my car in my previous Toys R Us car showand they were such a big hit I continued to use them in this show. Now my car has been labeled the Lego Car. |

1st Place win in MG class - October 29, 2005Halloween Blast was sponsored by Monterrey Restaurante Mexicano, (Jonesboro, GA), a nd it was indeed a blast. There were great cars of all kinds. The light effects that were done in the cars were really cool. The Halloween effects were also very good, and made the show that much more fun. It was my first time in this type of night show. Cold weather and all, I would do it again. My hat's off to "Simple N Trist" for another really great show. |

- June 17, 2006This was a special show at the Modhouse (Jonesboro, GA) All proceeds received during the show were donated to the Modhouse by "Simple N Trist" in memory of the late Scott Hayworth. The show was a great one with approximately 250 cars. One of my favorites was a white '61 Comet. Reminded me just how simple cars were in the past. Awards were given to the top 50 cars. |
